The library of social sciences faculty is located at ground floor of the former apartment of the faculty in an area of 250m2 , and it composed of several sections including the main section, study hall, dissertation section, borrowing section, listing and organization section. It has 5 computers in order that, students can search for available references (digilib) in library by using the special software named as Parsazarakhsh.

The system of classification in this library is arranged as follows:
Management(HM), Economics(HF), Sociology(HB),and most of the number of books is allocated to the field of the Accounting which is classified as (LC).
The new sources is prepared according to opinion of professors and regarding to the professional needs of students from the international book exhibition every year.

Persian books: 17200
English books: 3100

Ph.D dissertations (Economics and Accounting): 13
Digital resources:
The digital section of the library has been launched since 2012 and nowadays it has 560 electronic English books and 400 dissertations with the options of observation and downloading in the internet.
Borrowing section:
This part is changed from manual to systematic since 2012  and do the services including registering students, issuance of membership card and investigation of on time delivery of overdue items. Currently, it has 826 members.

Members in Ph.D level: 27
Members in M.A level: 494
Members in B.A level: 235
Other members: 70

Required documents for enrolment in the library:
Students: complete membership form, student card with format of jpg and 1 personal photograph with the volume of 375 pixel by 475 pixel scanned on CD.
Faculty members professors: 1 personal photo, complete membership form, give staffing warrant
Visiting professors: 1 personal photo, complete membership form, give introduction letter from the head of related department
Staff: 1 personal photo, complete membership form, give staffing warrant

The following rules apply for all users:

1.     Books are just borrowed to the users with membership card.

Ph.D students: 7 books for the period of one month

M.A students: 5 books for the period of one month

B.A students: 3 books for the period of 15 days

Other members: 5 books for the period of one month

2.     Renewing books: you can renew your borrowed books as long as they have not been requested by other library users.

3.     The clients who aren’t members of library can study their required books in the study hall.

4.     In case of late return, the borrower will be fined daily on each overdue items for 500 Rials.

5.     The borrower is responsible for maintenance of books and in case of damage, it is treated with them according to the rules.

6.     There is no fees charged for issuing membership card and in case of loss, 20000 Rials charged for issuance of replica card.

7.     Users aren’t allowed to bring out dissertations for copying or borrowing.

8.     Graduate students either the members of the library or not have to pay off their liabilities.

9.     Giving membership card is obligatory for paying off( for the members).

10.  M.A and Ph.D students are obligated to give their dissertations with the following form:

·        CD of dissertation content

·        The main text of dissertation including, the Persian abstract, English abstract, appendix and the text in the format of PDF( it isn’t acceptable in separate sections).

·        First name and last name of the student in English should be as the name of the file which is saved on CD.

The listing and organization section:
In this section, the new resources are recorded in information database of the library and are prepared to use. The section comprises published books and electronic books.

Publications section:
This section consists of professional journals in the fields of Accounting, Economics, management, sociology and also, domestic publications of the faculty.
It’s worth mentioning that currently, the possibility of searching for publications from the information database of the country is prepared through the efforts of Alzahra university.
In this library, there are 5 computers for searching the scientific sources. The sources are divided into two categories including:

     - Printed Resources

M.A. Thesis: 1840
     - Digital Resources
The digital part of this library was established in 1391/2012 and currently, it has 560 electronic Latin books and 400 thesis.
